Bradenton Redskins Fan Club Newsletter Volume 15, Number 16NEWSLETTER #16 A MESSAGE FROM BOBBESorry that Gary and I missed the final game for the season. He was attending the Winter Classic and I'm having fun in the snow in Va. Beach. Well... we had snow for a day or two.Our football season was not what we had hoped for. Our team didn't win the games we expected and our Club Rally's grew smaller due to having to relocate. I am ever so grateful for those of you who stuck with the Club when the going got rough. Our friends at Salute Sports Grill went out of their way to make us feel at home and to host the Club's Annual Tailgate and Christmas Parties. They are to be commended for doing such a wonderful job. If our Club is to continue with it's weekly rally .... we need two things . One ...... someone to take over as Club President and Two ... a location more centrally located in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. Hopefully we can rebuild our membership. For those of you who live in the Riverview area .. thank you for letting me know that YOU will travel to where ever the weekly rally is held. One of our members has been in touch with people at Ed's Tavern on Main Street , Lakewood Ranch .. right next to the theaters. OUR NEXT PRESIDENT should try to find out more about this while the iron is hot !! SOMEONE NEEDS TO STEP FORWARD !! I have shirts for 4 lucky winners from home games this season. I will be contacting you by phone as soon as I'm back in the area and maybe we can arrange a pickup. There are still some "unclaimed" shirts from the year before !! Wishing each of you the very best in 2011 ........ I have enjoyed serving as your President and plan to attend all Club events next season. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS !!!
